“A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time, at the right place and when one expects nothing in return” -The Bhagavad Gita

Premaanjali was conceptualized & started by a group of like-minded Individuals. The goal of Premaanjali is to touch the lives of many individuals who have the will but don’t have the means to fulfill their dreams.

Premaanjali is a concept which was initiated in 1988 by a group of like-minded individuals who discovered a way to repay what they keep receiving in abundance every moment from the Lord Almighty.

Premaanjali means ‘Offering of love’. This is what Premaanjali has been doing through several activities focused around the homeless, destitute & deprived children and also the visually impaired.

Over the years, the means to reach the needy have grown into an impressive array of projects and programs. But the underlying spirit has remained unchanged-the spirit that is simple and eternal, the spirit of unconditional love & also remained unchanged is the personal care and involvement of the individuals behind Premaanjali.

Premaanjali may be a small family but some of the biggest names in the country are Premaanjali's well wishers..

Some important projects of Premaanjali listed below are testimony to the spirit of expression of gratitude through an offering of love.

‘Mane’ is the base of Premaanjali. This is where the concept was encased in a fully-equipped home in J P Nagar, Bangalore where several destitute and homeless children live and blossom.

‘Saniha’ is closeness and that is what  this project aims. To provide the much needed close attention to deserving children who are almost at the dropout stage in schools for want of finance.

‘Shaale’ is a Montessori Pre-School and the latest project of Premaanjali for the tiny tots of the nearby slums.

‘Prasada’ is the Blessed Offering – an offering of love through a midday meals scheme for needy school children in rural areas.

‘Anthardrishti’ is the inner-vision ; Probably, it’s the opening of this inner vision that led Premaanjali to recognize the potential of the visually impaired and help them to be independent.
